Broad Range of Activities Available

The Palouse brims with cultural activities and provides the community with a broad range of educational activities and entertainment.

The most notable include major exhibits hosted by the Washington State University Museum of Art and the University of Idaho’s Pritchard Gallery; theater performances by both university and civic groups in Pullman and Moscow; concerts and performances offered by the Washington Idaho Symphony, the Idaho Washington Concert Chorale, Festival Dance and Performing Arts, various musical ensembles and individuals performers from both universities; and the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival.

Beasley Coliseum on the WSU campus regularly hosts major entertainers. Recent performers have included Bill Cobsy, The Beach Boys, David Copperfield, the Seattle Symphony, and Michael Moore.
