Diverse Mix of Shopping Opportunities

The Palouse offers a diverse mix of shopping opportunities, ranging from specialized locally owned businesses in both Pullman and Moscow to nationally known retail chains. The downtown areas in both cities provide plenty of customer parking and a pedestrian friendly experience incorporating outdoor dining, seasonal entertainment, and appealing décor.

The Palouse Mall, which features 61 stores and specialty shops, is the largest local shopping mall. It’s located on the west end of Moscow. Other major shopping destinations include the city of Spokane, 76 miles north of Pullman and the twin cities of Lewiston, Idaho, and Clarkston, Washington, 33 miles south of Pullman.

On the WSU campus, the Bookie offers a wide range of merchandise, including Cougar logo clothing and memorabilia, books and school supplies, and lattes and sandwiches.

Residents and visitors alike crowd the Moscow Farmer’s Market on summer Saturdays in pursuit of fresh vegetables and flowers.
